We so delighted to take part in the opening of new wholefoods, independent ethical shop in Southampton. 
Rice Up Wholefoods Limited is an exciting workers’ co-operative in Southampton trading as a wholefood and ethical grocer. We love the fact that their ethical principles reflect a concern for environmentalism, trade justice and animal exploitation.
Their mission is to provide a large range of affordable products, especially staple goods, whilst promoting sustainable and responsible consumer choices. For them Co-operative values are also important as they support other co-operatives, social enterprises and similarly minded local businesses and projects.

We love Southampton but we are going to love it even more when Rice Up opens on the 6th of July, as our city really needs a place of healthy and ethical food & grocery. So we were super-happy to be asked by Rice Up to join them to celebrate their grand opening.

We have teamed up with the lovely Marie & Stefano from La Gourmandina, a lovely French-Italian delicatessen, enoteca and restaurant  in Lamb's Conduit Street (London) to bring you a new mouth watering competition.

La Gourmandina is one of the few London cafes to serve already our new OrzoEspresso pods, so visit them to try it yourself.
