Orzo♥Coffee embraces the love for ‘slow food’. It is made with ground roasted barley, organically grown in the Veneto region (Italy) and it is 100% caffeine free, it is slowly roasted to preserve the nutritional properties of barley, following the original Italian tradition. It is made with a specific variety of barley, called ‘orzo mondo’ (hulless or ‘naked’ barley). While this variety of barley is not currently grown in the UK, Orzo♥Coffee travels only a short distance across Europe, compared with other hot drinks on the markets such as coffee and teas.

We have just launch a new product in our family: Orzo♥Espresso. This is 100% organic ground roasted barley in espresso pods to be used in professional espresso machines in cafes & restaurant.

Are you wondering what we have been up to during the first bank holiday week-end of May? Well of course we have been thinking about how to make OrzoCoffee even more eco-friendly and visible to you in the shops.

We know lots of company invest lots of money in plastic and cardboard point of sales to attract your attention. They usually get used for a few weeks and end up in the landfield. Instead we decide to make something ourselves, from FSC certified wood and with lots of added creativity (including some eco natural water-based varnish). 

Our lovely wooden trays will last for years on the shop shelves and you will be able to spot more easily our products on the shelf of your favourite deli or health food shop. Check below our new lovely boxes already in action at the Sunnyfield Farm Shop!
