OrzoCoffee is now available also in Hackney ! in a very special place Pogo Café. We have fallen in love with Pogo Café and its volunteers on our first visit! so let me tell you why you should make sure you pay a long visit too (possibly including one of their lovely tofu burgers & and orzocoffee of course). Pogo is an independent, non-hierarchical 100% vegan space run completely by volunteers. It aims to encourage veganism and animal liberation and they do so by providing the most delicious, affordable food, useful information and a lovely community atmosphere.Check out their events page for regular film nights (every Monday) and interesting talks. Visit Pogo Cafe, their address is 76 Clarence Road, Hackney, London, E5 8HB Tel: 020 8533 1214 http://www.pogocafe.co.uk/ Come and meet Orzo♥Coffee at the Gardens, Homes & Lifestyle etc Show in Brighton on the 2nd & 3rd March 2013 (stand 406, Food zone). If you still haven’t tasted the rich aroma of Orzocoffee yet, then this is an opportunity you can’t miss. Roberta, Jon and Cristina will be there to take you through the wonderful journey of Caffè d’orzo (lit. Barley Coffee). A longstanding Italian tradition naturally caffeine-free, full of goodness and drunk for centuries in Italy by people of all ages. Go and grab your fresh cup of organic ground roasted barley! Orzocoffee is organically grown in Italy and slowly roasted to keep its aroma and healthy properties. It has one ingredient only: 100% organic ground roasted barley, it is 100% natural and no chemicals are used in its production or preservation. And this is not all. If you enter our online competition you will be in with a chance to win a pair of free tickets for this amazing show and an orzocoffee goodies bag to collect from our stand on the day. “We love Brighton, its vibrant community and its passion for alternative and good food” says Roberta, who is looking forward to brewing some fresh Orzo in Brighton. Our first post of the year is dedicated to two newly recruited OrzoCoffe lovers and the journey that our favourite drink has made across the atlantic. Cliff & Phil bought some OrzoCoffee from us for their return back to the US on board of the Queen Mary 2! They sent us a long e-mail, we may have not told you before, but when we we get feedback from our customers, we go mad, crazy ad sooooooooooo excited, we just can't control ourselves :-). This is just a short snap from their e-mail. "I'm not sure if I ever explained that we were so eager to get our hands on more Orzo because it is *perfect* for camping. Since it has no caffeine it won't keep you awake; and as it is also not a diuretic, it hydrates you without the extra need to use the bathroom. We have wondered why it isn't more widely marketed to campers for those reasons. Maybe you would like pictures from all of the National and State Parks we visit? Just to show, you know, that "Orzo Coffee Gets Around!" If you are not in love as we are yet, you need to work on your karma this year :-) and drink plenty of OrzoCoffee. We look forward already to more photos from Cliff & Phil to share with you all! Go on, make our day and send us more feedback. This is the lovely photo that Cliff & Phil posted to us :-)
